Fun and trendy
A hip spot serving fantastic cocktails despite its unlikely locale out on 8 Mile Rd. Same name as the ultra trendy Parisian bar near the Champs Elysee, but you couldn't confuse the two given this one's in a mini strip mall. The crowd is different too: cool and eclectic yet down-to-earth - a lot less pretentious than those in Paris. You enter a dark and intimate lounge interior, where drinkers take seats in booths or couches and gaze out on the Asian-themed décor. Cocktails include dozens of strong martinis, while music runs from 80s to house. On Thursday's clubby DJs are proving particularly popular. Praise be to Buddha!
