The theatre is richly decorated.
The large staircase, whose ten steps form a pompeuse stair-well, leads to the large hearth which opens on the cabins with the mouldings fleuries.
A outside like inside, the play of the white stone and of the marbles coloured with gilded bronzes of the statues the majesty of the proportions underlines. The new frescos of the ceiling to the colors sharp were designed and carried out by Marc Chagall in 1964. On the medium an immense crystal candlestick of six tons is suspended.
